These sounds include acoustic drums sets, percussion
from all over the globe and some really crazy special
effects. There are also twenty two keyboard voices that
can assigned to the individual pads. These sounds can
be used to make some melodic loops that can be easily
integrated into any live performance.
Here is what is included in
this electronic drum kit. You get three toms, a snare
pad that has three zones, two cymbal pads that both
have three zones, a kick tower, and a hi-hat controller.
There is also room for expansion. If you need more pads
just split the tom and kick inputs.
Did you notice some of the pads
have two or even three zones? This means that each zone
will produce a different sound for that particular drum.
Let's take the snare pad for instance. HIt it in the
center and you get a snare sound but hit it closer to
the outside and you get a rim shot sound. The cymbals
pads have these hot spots too. This allows even more
freedom to make those awesome beats and grooves.
There is even a built in sequencer.
This handy device allows you to record your drums in
real time. There are also 44 prerecorded songs. These
can be great for practice. You can mute the drum tracks
in these pre-programmed songs play along. You can also
mute everything but the bass line and play along. One
of my favorite features is the AUX input. You can plug
your cd player or MP3 player right into this input and
play along.
There is also a programmable
click or metronome. It can be setup to play many variations
such as subdivisions of quarters, eight, sixteenth and
triplets. The volume level of these clicks is under
your control so you can set it up perfectly. This can
be a great training tool. If you get off time while
using this click your drums will be muted until you
get back in time. |
